Build 3 released


Build 3 is now available for Patrons, and as such, Build 2 has become available for the general public.

 

For Build 3 the focus was on implementing the inventory / item / loot systems, as they will be integral parts of the game from now on.

 

Changelog:

(New) Inventory system

You can now see your collected items in the inventory screen. Items can be equipped by dragging them to their corresponding gear slot or discarded by dragging them outside the inventory screen.

 

(New) Gear system:

Equipable armor/weapon parts now drop randomly when defeating enemies.

Gear drops in varying item qualities and boosts your defense/attack power.

Higher level enemies will drop better quality items more often, but even low tier enemies have a chance to drop high quality items.

Armor visuals can also be toggled in case you prefer to see your equipped outfit piece.

 

(New) 2 new Battle maps added

(Changed) More/better sounds for spells / hits / deaths

(Fixed) Smoother transitions when traversing the different game scenes / screens

 

Plans for next version:

- implementing player looks customization

- adding npc trader

- adding first enemy witch
